19th Annual OK Scholastic Chess Championship – 2015

RE: Results from the 19th Annual OK Scholastic Chess Championship that was held on Saturday, March 7, 2015.

The “OSCO” 19th Annual OK Scholastic Chess 2015 Championship was held this past weekend March 7, 2015 at the Will Rogers College High School located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event was sponsored by the Oklahoma Scholastic Chess Organization (OSCO) and Will Rogers College High School. The chess tournament was a 5-Round Swiss system style with a 45 minute game time.

Winners of the Grades 9 – 12 Premier Open Section were as follows: 1st Place – Joshua Alexander ; 2nd Place – Cade Guitron ; 3rd Place – Andrew Farell ; 4th Place – Nathan Yu ; 5th Place – David Mullens with a total field of 7 players.

Winners of the Grades 9 – 12 Under 1100 Section 4 were as follows: 1st Place – Joshua Topham ; 2nd Place – Christopher Farell ; 3rd Place – Zachary Winn ; 4th Place – Gage Tanksley ; 5th Place – Roshin Papaly with a total field of 22 players.

Winners of the Grades 6 – 9 Open Section 3 were as follows: 1st Place – Advait Patel ; 2nd Place – Sanjeev Musuvathy : 3rd Place – Matthew Rhoads ; 4th Place – Timothy Lee ; 5th Place – Nikith Kurella with a total field of 21 players.

Winners of the Grades K-6 Open Section 2 were as follows: 1st Place – Krish Kumar ; 2nd Place – Kaden Dunbar ; 3rd Place – Loucas Miller ; 4th Place – Caden Selby ; 5th Place – Kaylee Gandhi with a total field of 50 players.

Winners of the Grades K-4 Open Section 1 were as follows: 1st Place – Naren Pullela ; 2nd Place – Ameer Abouhli ; 3rd Place – Achilles Miller ; 4th Place – Maxwell Barnes ; 5th Place – Malik Abouhouli with a total field of 54 players.
